Power

Buy batteries in the battery shop:

All Rainbow's L.E.D.s are powered by one battery.

The 20mm bespoke hoops are supplied with one

1.5v AAA regular battery, or a 3.6v AA Xeno

All 25mm hoops use one lithium 3.6v AA,

but can be converted to use one AA 1.5v battery

The 1.5 v battery hoops will run on re-usables too.

Only available on-line so always have a spare !

There are no fiddly wires to connect when changing the battery.

Pop open the silver button and the battery comes out !

How easy is that

Our hoops are designed to be quiet,

so the connection may seem tight when the battery is in

The least a 3.6v battery will last with super intensity is around 4 -6 hours of continuous use running 20 lights on a new regular battery.

Rechargebles and 1.5v may be different.

It will last longer if you have intermittent use and fewer lights.

The changers and red LEDs last the longest

When the battery is powering down lights will be dimmer,

some will stop shining

and a lot of red will appear in the changers.

Intermittent use will ensure the battery lasts as long as possible.

The switch is located on the outside of the hoop

and the knob is low to avoid accidental turning on / off.

Always ensure the battery is off when not in use.

All batteries are tested beforehand.

You will find your battery in the HoopSok™ or Hoop-Rap™ !

1.5 v Option:

Cost

Using a 1.5v battery means we need to add in more electronics to your hoop, hence the extra cost.

Weight:

Using a AAA battery + converter

is no lighter than a 3.6v

The 1.5v +converter is the heaviest.

We are talking grams :)

Hardly any weight at all !!

LEDs

Please check if you want 20 lights and a 1.5 v battery.

Some LEDs use more power than others and we need to get the combination correct.

To give you the best and brightest hoop.
